I am an illustrator and designer from Colombia based in Brooklyn, New York.

Exploring nature constitutes us. But what do we understand by nature?

I find a deep fascination in observing nature's mutability and constant adaptation and how this attitude transports us to unexpected places, uncomfortable or gracious, sorrowful or pleasant.

What might look like a leaf could also look like a caterpillar. A colorful shape with a slight rotation could manifest itself as a bird, an insect, or simply as a shape to which we do not have to give a name. Just by considering its essence, we feel that it belongs, that we are both part of it, and that communicates a much greater feeling to us, even to our understanding

All this mutability and transformation happens because nature is forceful and mysterious, leaning a part of my work toward the exploration of a more fantastic world that speaks through its intense colors, and characters that suggest substantial emotions from times of our life, or complex sensations hard to explain from those parallel worlds we are able to create to escape from this one.
